After the order is at the same time before the considerations for the first set up and equipment, before it goes on the journey. So we start quite early to put together our equipment for the bathroom in the van. This is sometimes more difficult than expected, especially since you somehow always feel that you have forgotten something. So we take sometime unnerved note and pencil to hand, go through our real bathroom and write down what things in our opinion belong to the basic equipment in the motorhome.

Meanwhile, we have almost its own, further equipment in the van. Especially with the things for the daily needs and all the consumables (for example, deodorant spray, shampoo, etc.) that is really beneficial. It's just more practical, you have less to put in and out and you can hardly forget anything.

The most important items in our bathroom at a glance

In our van we have only a small flap closet and a narrow storage compartment available. That's not a lot of space - especially when you consider what you have in your closet at home ... Our first thought was therefore consistent: "Oh God the place is never enough!" Therefore, we need the existing space particularly efficient and give us an intense thought about what is really taken away.

We would like to omit all consumables in our analysis. Surely all have their favorite products, brands and preferences. In addition, these things are certainly regularly refilled when shopping in the supermarket. In the following, we are concerned with the things that are often forgotten, or should be procured before the first trip:

  • Bath towels: After a long research, we decided for the

    • The Tek Towel is lightweight and dries quickly. It feels like a terrycloth, providing some comfort on our travels. It is also ideal for make-up removal. The towels are extremely easy to wash.
    • Travel hair dryer: Thanks to our inverter can also dry the Harre comfortable with a hair dryer. The

      • Flip-flops: We actually forgot them on our first tour. But especially at campsites they are definitely recommended, if not almost obligatory - for him
      • Take your toiletries to the ferry or campsite in the washrooms.

      • Basket: Especially practical, foldable and easy to stow. We use it mainly on the camping and picnic areas, to clear many things quickly and back in the van.
      • Disposable shower your hair. Often you can not adjust the height of the shower on the campgrounds or on the ferry. Especially with long hair, this small investment is worthwhile. In addition, the hoods can also be used more often. Insider tip: Meanwhile, some hoods have been misappropriated, they are ideal for protecting the camera from rain ... 😉

What else should not be missing in the "household" ...

Conny and Sirko

"Yes, we love this country ..." - that's the beginning of the Norwegian national anthem, and yes, we too - Conny Sirko - love this country, its inhabitants, the magnificent scenery, the peace and tranquility that we enjoy there and throughout Scandinavia Find. We've been touring the North more than 20 times - at different times, in many regions and in all variations. The idea for this homepage came to us last year, because then we have the opportunity to write the permanent wanderlust to the north of the soul and hopefully inspire you for it. So: heading north!
